Jollibee, Lucky Plaza

The entire of this country's fast food could certainly learn a thing or two about queue management from Jollibee (#06-048A, Lucky Plaza, 304 Orchard Road). That aside, I can see why these guys are so popular. The chicken was actually pretty light and quite tender for something deep fried and tasted reasonably good. And surprisingly, their burger steak in that onion-y gravy was quite the comfort food with the little packet of rice on the side.

I think part of the draw is that they are different, subtly enough and not entirely a different beast. I wouldn't mind eating this, but I'm not so sure it'll be worth the time if there was a long queue. Hey, there's actually pineapple juice instead of just the painfully unimaginative globally monopolized sealed deal offerings of the usual boring sodas and overly sweet lemon tea.
