Finally got to try the standard wanton mee from R&D. No black sauce, extra wanton and extra chilli. The latter packed substantial heat which I definitely enjoyed. We also get better quality old school char siew with the noodles than the red dyed cardboard some stalls serve. Noodles were passable - I was hoping that there was more bite to them.
Wantons were decent quality. Definitely getting the dried sole flavour from the meat stuffings inside. If I were to come back, I'll be sticking to the dumpling kuey teow I got the last time.
