I've been wanting to try the bak chor mee from Ah Ken (#01-51 ABC Brickworks Food Centre, 6 Jalan Bukit Merah). Now that I've gotten around to visiting the stall, I ended up with laksa instead.
Looked like a pretty inconspicuous bowl. Fish cakes, half a hard boiled egg, a bit of bean sprouts and some tau pok.
Got it with mee pok. Aha! Gravy's pretty good after the sambal has been stirred in. It's creamy, has a bit of heat and pretty lemak.
Topped up with a bit more of those laksa leaves for extra flavour. I liked this better than I thought
Finished all the broth. 食晒. 😂
