I seem to recall getting goreng pisang from this stall (#01-57 Old Airport Road Food Centre, 51 Old Airport Road) before but couldn't for my life remember anything about them.
They looked like they had pretty wide girth.
After a couple of bites, I noticed that each fritter was made with two bananas.
As I progressed, I realised that there were actually 2.5 bananas. Each piece was $2.20.
Tried their durian puff. The proprietor mentioned that they were cold.
They were actually frozen. The filling wasn't 100% durian. It's a bit creamier than that and there wasn't much fibre from the fruit. Tasted much like durian ice cream with a lot of durian meat. Definitely not MSW though.
