In retrospect, I might have gone a little overboard with this configuration of the butter burger from One Fattened Calf. The additional patty threw off the balance of their meat to bread ratio and to add on, today's burger quality was not something I had expected. While the meat had a respectable char fragrance from all the nice browning, it was also fully cooked and very crumbly. And kinda devoid of beefiness. The patties were also disintegrating as I ate just like how the butter soaked buns were falling apart. What's happening here?

Tun Xiang Hokkien Delights (豚香福建館), One Raffles Place
Stumbled upon Tun Xiang Hokkien Delights (#B1-30 One Raffles Place, 1 Raffles Place) by chance at the area where Qin Ji Rougamo and Gochi-So Shokudo are located. While looking through the menu, we got the impression that every pork dish that they served was done with Iberico pork.
Tried their Hokkien mee which was not bad tasting. It's not the awesome-est out there but I thought it was competent enough and they did better than IL Fiore with a pretty flavourful stock and a generous load of ingredients including a few sweet prawns. A few squeezes of lime and their sambal adds to it.
Ordered a soup with shabu thin slices of Iberico pork, tripe and fish maw. Peppery and good drinking this one.

$1.95 mini boat noodles from Shiok Shiok Night Market
The picture up there might not have accurately depicted how small the mini boat noodles were at Shiok Shiok Night Market (100 Orchard Road) because of the angle at which it was taken. It's a small bowl. Just a few mouthfuls. Not bad tasting to if I might add mostly because of the richness from the pronounced red fermented bean curd/namyu (南乳) flavour in the broth which I didn't expect.
What the picture didn't tell was that 3 to 4 of this little bowl would have made their regular sized bowl which costed $11.40. Definitely made more sense to get 3-4 of these than a regular bowl.

More fried chicken and pizza from Asian Food Mall at Lucky Plaza
The product shot of that spinach bacon glazed pizza like many product shots out there can be construed as deliberating misleading. It looked a lot nicer than the real thing.
There was less spinach than I imagined. I think even Dr Oetker's frozen spinach pizza might have more spinach. Turkey bacon looked unnaturally rectangle and was not as sweet as what the word 'glazed' might have suggested. Pretty disappointing.

Mung bean dumpling (绿豆粽) from Jia Ji Mei Shi (佳记美食)
These local mung bean dumplings from Jia Ji Mei Shi were quite different from the Cantonese variety that's made by Imperial Treasure. I'm not even sure if they were the same type of dumpling even though they were both stuffed with mung beans and pork.
These were denser and less tender in comparison. Still pretty good eating. There's pork, lard and salted egg in them too. It's unexpectedly nice pairing with their generic sweet sauce and chilli.

More mille crepe from Lady M
Revisiting Lady M. Not as impressed this time round. That rose mille crepe has rose flavouring only on the layer of jelly on the top. The bottom tasted like the regular mille crepe so with that kind ratio, it wasn't that rose-y.
There's a limited time sakura flavour. Tasted like some berry yoghurt to me. Couldn't get what's sakura about it except for the colour. Also, this one had a sweetness that got cloying fast. In comparison with the ones we had in the previous/first visit, today was unexpectedly disappointing.
Tried the creme de la rose with tea instead of coffee today. Not a bad rose flavoured milk tea but it was a little more than a little too sweet as it compounded on the mille crepe.
