Been a while since we were at Bismillah @ Dunlop Street. Today happened because of the plug they have been making regarding their lamb shoulder blade biryani. I gotta admit it looked good.
Portion was huge. Could feed two. But it also costed $36.90.
Lamb shoulder blade was pretty tender and had a lot of meat. Just not as spoon tender or moist as I was led to believe from their plug.
Their mutton haleem appeared to be gamier than the last time we had it. I do mean gamey, not lamb-y. That bread on the side was actually their naan; wouldn't be recognised as naan in taste or appearance by anyone here. This was disappointing compared to that last time.
