Got wind of Spring Roll Station (Kou Wei Eating House, #01-170, 34 Upper Cross Street). The stall's located in a coffeeshop filled with many/mostly old uncles drinking beer.
Gỏi cuốn with prawns - these were pretty basic without basil or mint. Even the sauce didn't have any peanuts.
Phở gà came with a lime. Use the lime. The chicken-y broth was much better with it. Not a bad tasting bowl.
Not a fan of their glutinous rice (xôi xéo?). Rice was dry and bland. Pate topping wasn't particularly delicious. Those shallots in it came from a plastic pack so they were relatively tasteless.
