This was a random stop. None of us had heard of the place and we just needed some fuel for the morning/afternoon before the rest of the day so we ended up in Sugarcane (Restaurant Row @ The Venetian, 3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109). It was later that I found out that it was an outpost of a James Beard award winning eatery from Miami. The food looked....international for the lack of a better word.
Their truffled toad in the hole with Robiola cheese was not a bad eat. There's bits of jarred truffle and truffle honey involved but it still made a tasty brunch aside from the fact that the brioche was slightly burnt on the edges.
